Question
I am 37 years old. I have acne on face upper back and neck. I had acne problem for a long time. It used to appear more during the start of menstrual cycle but recently after pregnancy my baby is 6 months old now the problem has accelerated. During pregnancy one of my reports showed PCOS in right ovary. I conceived naturally and no treatment was taken. I consulted an allopathic doctor who said it is due to hormonal changes and prescribed Persol gel but I feel it is not effective. Please suggest some medicine? I want to get rid of acne.

Acne worsening after childbirth can be linked to hormonal changes and PCOS. Since the acne appears on the face, back, and neck, it may suggest an ongoing hormonal imbalance. While topical treatments help some people, others may require hormonal evaluation to address the root cause. A dermatologist or endocrinologist can guide you further.
