I am a 43 year old female suffering from knee pain, joint pain, muscle pain, tiredness, and drowsiness for the past week. As per the latest blood report, ESR is 39 and thyroid is 0.92. What may be the reason? Whom should I contact?

ESR is slightly raised, could be due to inflammation. Thyroid is normal. Consider early arthritis or vitamin deficiency. Consult a rheumatologist.
Dr. Siri Suggests...
Take a Vitamin D Test Test or Take a RA Factor Test (Rheumatoid Factor) Test

View allI have been experiencing cough and cold for 4 days, with a mild fever between 99 and 100.5F over the last two days, which subsided after taking PCM. Today, as advised by my doctor, I had a blood test. The results show ESR 40, while hemoglobin and platelet count are normal. I am confused about why my ESR is high. My doctor prescribed Azithromycin for 5 days. Is there any serious problem associated with this high ESR?
