Question

I am currently taking Selekon XL 50 mg and Amfast 40 mg for blood pressure, which is well controlled. My weight is 65 kg and my height is 5.6. However, over the past few days, I have been experiencing symptoms such as stomach bloating, weakness, tiredness, tinnitus, numbness in fingers while sleeping, and a sensation of hot feet. My recent blood test showed a low Vitamin B12 level at 172.9 pg per mL. Additionally, my VLDL is 51 and my cholesterol/HDL ratio is 6.46. I am looking for suggestions on how to manage these issues and whether any treatment or lifestyle changes are needed. Thank you.

B12 deficiency can cause nerve issues. Low HDL, high VLDL raises heart risk. Start B12 supplements and modify lifestyle. Do the required lipid and B12 follow up.

Dr. Bhanu Suggests...

Take a Lipid Profile Test Test or Take a Vitamin B12 Test Test
