I am a diabetic female for the last 20 years. Recently I did a liver function test and my report shows bilirubin total 0.62, AST 62, ALT 40 and GGTP 100. Is this alarming? How can I reduce these levels? The rest of the report is normal.

Mild enzyme elevation in long term diabetes may suggest fatty liver. Limit fat and sugar intake. Weight control is key. Please take a repeat LFT and ultrasound.
