Question
I am experiencing severe discomfort in the upper and middle abdomen, along with bloating and excessive gas. I am currently taking Nexpro L. My epigastric pain has not improved. I have attached my latest blood report and ultrasound. Could you please help me understand which organs might be involved, and whether I can take Rifaximin or Rifagut 200 mg for dyspepsia and gastritis? I would like guidance on the best treatment for dyspepsia, gastritis, and fatty liver.

Yes, you can use Rifaximin (Rifagut) for 10 to 14 days under doctor guidance for suspected bacterial overgrowth. Continue Nexpro. Avoid fried/spicy foods. Persistent issues may indicate functional dyspepsia.
