I am having hepatitis B virus and my liver function test and fibrosis reports are attached. My bilirubin is high. Will this have any effect on my body in the future? How should I manage it? My doctor told me that treatment is required only when SGOT and SGPT are high, and starting medicine before that is of no use. Is this correct, or should I start treatment now?

High bilirubin indicates liver stress. Treatment depends on viral load, liver damage, and enzyme levels. Starting treatment early may prevent long term damage. Delaying treatment may lead to complications like cirrhosis.

Hi Doctor, I am attaching my liver function test report for your review. Could you please guide me on whether these results indicate any risk of liver problems in the future? I do not drink or smoke, and I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle, so I am concerned about why my liver function readings are elevated. Thank you in advance for your guidance.
