I am recently getting high fever up to 102 degrees F every day twice. My urine report shows pus cells 20 to 22 per hpf. There is a bulky left kidney with mild to moderate perinephric fat stranding concerning for acute pyelonephritis. There is cholelithiasis without cholecystitis. I am also suffering from grade 3 prostatomegaly with median lobe hypertrophy and intravesical protrusion.

Yes, findings are suggestive of acute kidney infection. Grade 3 prostate enlargement and gallstones are also noted. Antibiotics and urologist review are needed. Stay hydrated and avoid alcohol.

I recently got a urine test done for my grandmother. The report shows full/high pus cells and 4 to 6 epithelial cells per HPF. Could you please explain what this indicates and if any further action or treatment is needed?
