I am taking antibiotics for a urinary infection. I want to know the time gap that should be given between the antibiotic Zocef and Cital syrup. I am taking Zocef after meals, so after how much time should I take Cital syrup? I have attached my urine report. Also, how much should I take 5 ml or 10 ml, and should it be twice or thrice daily?

You can keep a 30 to 60 minute gap between Zocef and Cital syrup. Since one is an antibiotic and the other helps support urinary comfort, separating them helps avoid any possible interaction. Continue staying well hydrated and monitor symptoms. If discomfort continues, follow up with your doctor.

Hi, my wife has been having a urine infection for the last 2 to 3 days, and the burning sensation is not subsiding. We started her on Alkasol, and she took 2 to 3 doses, but the burning sometimes improves and sometimes comes back. A week ago, she had a severe throat infection for which she took antibiotics and cold medicines after consulting a doctor. During that time, we did almost all tests, including urine culture, urine routine, CBC, and dengue profile, but almost everything was negative, except a slight positive result in urine routine, and the culture was normal. Please advise what to do now?
