I developed an infection after having unprotected sex with my girlfriend. I started experiencing a burning sensation while urinating and noticed yellow discharge from my penis. I got my discharge tested at a pathology lab, and the report states No gonococci seen, few gram negative cocco bacilli seen, and a large number of pus cells seen. Could you please explain what this means.

This suggests a likely bacterial infection (possibly non gonococcal urethritis). A course of appropriate antibiotics may be needed. It is advisable to consult a doctor for prescription and partner treatment.

I have been suffering from a high fever ranging from 102F to 104.6F for the past 5 days. Under my doctor advice, I have undergone tests for malaria, dengue, typhoid, and CBC, all of which came back normal with no problems detected. I am taking my medications properly, but the fever, headaches, and body pain persist. I get some relief for about 5 to 7 hours after taking medicine, but then the symptoms return repeatedly every 5 to 7 hours.
