I had a complete body checkup a few months back and found that my SGOT and LDL cholesterol levels were slightly higher than normal. My report showed SGOT 36 optimal less than 34, SGPT 47 optimal 10 to 49, and LDL cholesterol 109.5 optimal less than 100. I did the same tests again two days ago from a different lab, and the results are SGOT 33 is 15 to 37, SGPT 63 is 16 to 63, and LDL cholesterol 110 is 70 to 180. I am not sure if the biological reference ranges given in both reports are correct, as they are different, and I am unable to understand if my current levels are fine. Can you please tell me the correct levels and if the reports are normal?

Your values are within acceptable range in the second report. Minor lab variation exists across centers. LDL slightly above 100 may require diet change.

Hello Doctor, I am suffering from high TG and hyperbilirubinemia since 2016. The doctor told me that since I am suffering from hyperbilirubinemia for the last 12 years, it is Gilbert Syndrome. For TG, some doctors are suggesting diet control and are afraid to give medication as TG is associated with liver. A few doctors suggested Fenofibrate but I am afraid to take it. Please suggest? I have attached my report with medication details. Please help me.
