I had a day 5 frozen embryo transfer (blastocyst) on 4th July. Initially, I experienced period like cramps and pelvic discomfort for 3 to 4 days, but since then I have not had any such symptoms. I am worried about whether I am pregnant. My doctor has asked me to come on 19th July for a Beta HCG test. Can I check a home pregnancy test today to get an idea of whether I am pregnant?

After frozen embryo transfer, cramps can happen and stopping does not mean implantation has failed. A urine pregnancy test now (July 16) may show results, but may not be fully reliable. It is best to wait for Beta hCG on July 19 as planned, as it is more accurate for early pregnancy confirmation after FET. Stay calm, continue medications, and follow your doctors advice.

View allI am 28 years old and just took a pregnancy test, which came back positive. I am feeling very anxious, extremely tired, and drowsy. I already have one child, 4.5 years old. Could you please advise what steps I should take next and any precautions I should follow at this stage?

My last menstrual period was on April 24. We had unprotected intercourse on April 28, and I took an emergency contraceptive (ipill) on April 29. My period has still not arrived. I have taken five home pregnancy tests, all of which were negative. I consulted a doctor, who prescribed Meperate, and I have been taking it for the past three days, but my period has not started yet. I am feeling worried.

I had my beta hcg test before 10 days the result was 0.5 and today it was 3.1. Both tests were taken at the same laboratory. My LMP was 19.8.10 which was 44 days ago. Why did my hcg increase? I took meprate a week ago and got my periods yesterday but with less bleeding and clots. Am I pregnant?
