I had a Whipple surgery a while ago where they removed parts of my pancreas, bile duct, and gallbladder. Ever since then, I've been struggling to put on weight and now I'm underweight. What kind of diet plan would help me gain some healthy weight?

I have multiple gallstones, with the largest being 12mm and others around 8-9mm. I'm also diabetic, and my HIDA scan showed 95% gallbladder function. Should I consider surgery for gallstones? I'm 20 years old and have a height of 5'10'' with a weight of 91 kg. About 4 months ago, I got a checkup, and everything was normal with my ECG and 2d Echo no cholesterol or sugar issues. The only thing was my vitamin B levels were at 93. Lately, I've been experiencing this strange pain every night in my left abdomen, right below the ribs, and sometimes I feel pain in my shoulder, neck area, and even in my arms on the left side. These pains come and go quickly, but the abdomen pain sticks around a little longer. I also have acidity and get reflux at night, with the pain happening around the same time when I'm just settling in bed. I'm just wondering if there's anything I should be concerned about with these symptoms or if there's something I can do to feel better.

My brother has been dealing with chronic pancreatitis for the past 4-5 years. Every time he gets treated, doctors find his lipase and amylase levels are abnormally high. They manage it with drips and painkillers until he stabilizes, then slowly reintroduce his diet. This cycle keeps repeating. Is there any permanent solution whether it's medication, surgery, or even an organ transplant? He doesn't drink or use any drugs, and he's just a regular student. What options do we have to stop this from happening again?
