I have attached my RF Turbidimetry test report. I am 22 years old and weigh 103 kg. Is this normal? If not, what should I do? Is this reversible?

Elevated RF may indicate autoimmune inflammation (e.g., RA). Weight is high; weight reduction helps. Joint pain, swelling require evaluation. Please take Anti CCP and CRP to confirm.

Dr. Vasanthasree Suggests...

Take a Anti CCP Test (Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide) Test or Take a CRP Test (C - Reactive Protein) Test

I am experiencing pain in my left hand, wrist, and fingers, with difficulty moving my fingers. There is slight pain in my right hand and in the middle three toes of my left foot, along with left knee pain that causes a grinding sound during movement and difficulty climbing stairs. I also feel a burning sensation in my feet and neck pain when turning left or right. My blood tests for rheumatoid arthritis and gout came back negative. I do not drink alcohol or smoke, and I am slightly overweight. Despite this, some doctors are suggesting it might be rheumatoid arthritis, but I am confused given my test results. I would like guidance on what could be causing these symptoms and what steps I should take next.

I got a full body checkup and need an opinion on the rheumatoid factor normal range value. My report mentioned: Rheumatoid Factor Quantitative less than 20.0 IU/mL, less than 30 Normal, 30 to 50 Weakly positive, greater than 50 Reactive. Is this normal? Some sites say that up to 14 IU/mL is normal and more than 14 is high. Please advise.

My wife has pain in her wrists, hands, finger joints, and shoulders. She is 33 years old. Her recent test results are: RA factor positive, CRP positive, ESR 14 mm/hr (normal range 0 to 20), vitamin D, uric acid, calcium, and other tests are normal. She has not done Anti CCP antibody test yet. What are the next steps? We are worried because her RA factor is positive.
