I have been experiencing a high fever for the past 3 days, along with intense headache, chest pain, and body aches. My CRP level in the blood test is 25 mg/L, and my blood pressure is 110/78 mmHg. Could you please advise what might be causing these symptoms and what treatment or tests are recommended?

CRP of 25 indicates significant inflammation or infection. Fever and headache may suggest viral or bacterial illness (e.g. dengue, typhoid). Chest pain needs urgent evaluation. See a doctor for further tests.
Dr. Bhanu Suggests...
Take a COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT (CBC) Test or Take a DENGUE PROFILE (IGG & IGM ANTIBODY & NS1 ANTIGEN) Test

View allPlease help me interpret my hs CRP value, which is reported as 14.42 mg/L in my blood test. When I consulted my doctor, they mentioned that hs CRP can increase due to any type of inflammation in the body. I recently underwent an RCT and a tooth implant procedure. Should I repeat the test to reassess the hs CRP level, or is this elevation expected due to the recent dental treatments?

My grandmother recent blood reports show the following, sodium level is 119, CRP is 238, and postprandial blood sugar is 582. She also has hypothyroidism and is currently on medication for ischemic heart disease, cholesterol, and hypertension. She is extremely weak and has lost her appetite. Are these report values very serious, and what should be done next?

After experiencing diarrhea, I often develop swelling in my knees and ankles, along with pain in my neck, elbows, and other joints. Since March, my condition has worsened to the point where I am bedridden, with extreme pain along my spinal cord and swelling in my left knee. My HLA B27 test result came back as weakly positive. What does this mean, and will I be able to recover and return to normal again?
