I have been experiencing significant hair loss, which has led to visible balding patches. I recently underwent hormonal testing, and all results were normal except for low serum ferritin levels. My general physician prescribed Orofer to address the iron deficiency. However, since starting Orofer, I have noticed breakouts (pimples) and irregular periods, which were not an issue before. Could you please advise.

Low ferritin can cause hair loss. Orofer helps but may cause minor side effects. Consider discussing alternative iron supplements and Biotin with your doctor.

I also took medicines for three months but there has been no improvement?
