I have been noticing white and red patches on both my palms after carrying bags, which disappear within 4 to 5 minutes. This was not happening 4 to 5 years ago. Could this be related to vitamin deficiency or general weakness? My blood reports, haemoglobin levels, and sugar levels are normal (I have been on diabetes medication for the past 10 years). Please advise

This likely indicates vascular flushing or pressure induced capillary reaction. If transient and not itchy/painful, it is usually benign. Nutritional causes are unlikely. However, if persistent, consider dermatology or neurology review.

Dr. Rohinipriyanka Suggests...

Take a ANTI NUCLEAR ANTIBODY (ANA) Test or Take a Vitamin B12 Test Test

Last week, 1.5 liters of fluid was removed from the space between my lungs. Since then, I have been experiencing rapid weight loss, loss of appetite, bitterness in the mouth, constant fatigue, and a persistent cough. All lab reports have come back normal, and TB has been ruled out, but the doctors have not been able to give a clear diagnosis yet. I am very concerned and would appreciate it if you could review the situation and let me know if there is anything more we should do

I am having pain in my hand and leg. I also feel pain in my shoulders, hand, wrist, fingers, knee, toes, and forefeet. What problem am I having? Which doctor should I consult? What other tests are required? My blood report shows vitamin D 19.72, vitamin B12 183, ESR 52, CRP 17.6, and CPK 500.1.

Hi, I completed treatment for typhoid, and my Typhi dot and Widal tests have been negative for more than a month. For the past 15 to 20 days, my blood pressure has dropped to 80/50, and I have started experiencing palpitations and numbness in my head after stopping antibiotics. For the last 20 days, I have had similar symptoms as during the initial phase of typhoid but without high fever. I consulted a cardiologist and an endocrinologist. All thyroid, cortisol tests, and echocardiography are normal. Holter report shows brady and tachycardia. The cardiologist suggested that hypotension might be due to some infection and advised repeating blood tests and Typhi dot. Recent blood tests show lymphocytosis, decreased platelets (120), increased RDW SD, and raised liver bilirubin. Typhi dot and Widal are negative. Dengue, malaria, hepatitis, and TB Gold are negative. Stool and urine tests show WBCs but no growth in culture. I frequently feel dizziness, numbness in the head, along with ear, eye, right side abdominal pain, and occasional mild fever (99.2 to 99.8 degrees F). Kindly advise and help?
