I have booked an appointment on Saturday. I have TSH of 12 and T3 and T4 are normal but my report is two months old. Should I get my thyroid levels checked before consulting the doctor?

Yes, it is advisable to repeat thyroid tests like TSH, T3, T4 before the appointment since hormone levels may have changed in 2 months. This helps your doctor assess your current condition more accurately.

My gynecologist has prescribed tablets to help regulate my periods, but I am concerned about the elevated prolactin. Should this be treated separately, and what could be the reason for the high prolactin level?
