I have had a low grade fever for two months. My doctor advised some blood tests, which show typhoid, WBC count of 16,000, and ESR of 70. What should I do?

These suggest chronic or unresolved infection. Repeat blood culture and Widal, and test for TB (Mantoux or Quantiferon TB Gold). Consult a physician soon.
Dr. Siri Suggests...
Take a CBC+ESR Test or Take a Widal Test Test

I have been having a fever for the past 5 days. I got my blood tests done, including Tiofad and BE. Should I also get a COVID test? Can I start treatment with Tiofad now?

I was tested for typhoid about 25 days ago, and at that time my Widal test showed O type 1:160 and H type 1:160. I recently got tested again, and now all other types are negative except O type, which is still showing 1:160. I would like to know the reason behind this. What should I do next, and what kind of food should I eat during this recovery period?
