I had gallbladder surgery in November. Before the surgery, my creatinine was 1.3. I repeated the KFT test in December, and I have attached the report here. Is my report normal? Should I be concerned, and after how many days should I repeat the test? I have also attached my urine routine report.

I am a 16 year old CKD patient. I have been on dialysis for one month, three times a week. I was hospitalized on 2nd October when my creatinine was 13.50. On 5th October, my creatinine reduced to 6.40. Now my creatinine is 10.30 before dialysis. As per the report of 9th October, urine albumin and occult blood are present, pus cells are 6 to 8/hpf, and RBC is 2 to 3/hpf. Urine total protein/creatinine ratio is 3.37. I want a second opinion. Is this curable?

Recently, he had a problem where he was not able to urinate properly, but there was no pain. Creatinine level is 0.88 to 1.2, checked in different labs for repeatability. After consulting two different nephrology doctors, we are confused. One suggests normal kidney function, and the other suggests 20 percent kidney damage with a recommendation for Renosave medicine.

We would like to know whether we need to take any medicine to prevent further kidney damage or if we should monitor eGFR to see any abnormality by creatinine level in blood tests?

As per doctors suggestion, a DTPA test was conducted to examine kidney function. Following are the test report comments:

There is abnormally increased circulating background tracer noted, suggestive of renal parenchymal dysfunction.

Bilateral subnormally functioning kidneys without obstruction.
Low normal limit of GFR for age greater than 70 ml/min.

Kindly clarify and also suggest whether we need to take preventive medicine in this case or not to avoid any kidney damage?

I have less hunger and visited a consultant. My creatinine level is greater than 10. The size of my kidneys has decreased: right kidney 8.8 cm, left kidney 8.5 cm. Cortical echogenicity is raised in both kidneys. The pelvicalyceal system is normal in both kidneys. What does this indicate?
