I have xanthelasma on both eyelids. I also have high cholesterol and thyroid issues. Please advise the best way to treat xanthelasma and if there are any effective treatment options available.

Xanthelasma is caused by high cholesterol or lipid imbalance. The best way to reduce it is by bringing cholesterol under control through diet, exercise, and medicine (if advised). For existing patches, treatment options include laser, chemical peels, or minor surgery. Keep thyroid levels normal as it affects cholesterol. Consider doing the following tests: lipid profile, LFT, TSH

Sir, I have done my lipid profile test. Total cholesterol is 171, triglycerides 165, HDL 33, LDL 105, and VLDL 33. Please suggest, is this really dangerous and should I take medicines?
Answered by Apollo Doctors
I am having frequent urination. Sometime back, there was itching on my arms and redness, which gets relieved automatically after 1 to 2 hours. I went for a blood checkup and received my report. It shows high LDL and triglycerides, and low HDL. I am doing exercise regularly for half an hour. I need suggestions? My HDL cholesterol is 27.7 mg/dl, LDL/HDL ratio is 3.6, and serum albumin is 4.84 g/dl. The rest of the parameters are in the attached picture.
