I recently had my lipid profile done, and my triglycerides are 193 mg/dL, while the normal limit is less than 150 mg/dL. My weight and BMI are normal, but I delivered a baby 8 months ago, consumed a lot of desi ghee, and currently have minimal physical activity. Could you please advise how I can reduce my triglycerides? Do I need medication, or can it be managed with diet and lifestyle changes?

Triglycerides at 193 are mildly high but can often improve with lifestyle changes. Since your weight and BMI are normal, focus on reducing desi ghee, sweets, and refined carbs in your diet. Increase daily physical activity, like walking for 30 minutes. Repeat Fasting Lipid Profile after 3 months to monitor progress. Medicines are usually not needed if lifestyle changes control the levels, but follow your doctors advice if levels remain high.
