Question

I recently moved to a hilly region. For the past 4 days, I have developed large red rashes mostly on my limbs and some on my stomach. Initially red, some rashes developed pus, and after 2 days, some turned magenta, especially after wearing jeans all day. In my locality, there are many insects, including large mosquitoes. My blood test report shows: Hemoglobin: 14.7 Polymorphs (Poly): 72 Lymphocytes: 21 ESR: 10 Other parameters: Normal Please advise what might be causing these rashes and the next steps or treatment.

Likely allergic or insect bite reaction. No sign of serious infection in CBC. Consult dermatologist if rash worsens or spreads.

Dr. Bhanu Suggests...

Take a COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT (CBC) Test or Take a TOTAL IGE Test
