I wanted to ask if it is possible to have hypothyroidism even when thyroid levels appear normal. My recent test results show T3 at 130, T4 at 9.71, and TSH at 1.23, all within the normal range. However, I am experiencing several symptoms such as brain fog, anxiety, slowed thinking, extreme laziness, and memory issues. Could these symptoms still be related to a thyroid issue despite the normal lab values?

Your TSH is within normal limits, but your symptoms suggest that your body may still be sensitive to thyroid changes. Some people feel symptoms even with normal reports. Nothing to worry, just consult an endocrinologist to explore further. Low Vitamin B12 can also contribute to fatigue, so to rule it out, get done Vitamin B12 levels checked

Hi, I recently got my thyroid checked after delivery (I delivered a baby a year ago). My report shows TSH is 4.26. I want to know if this is normal or if I need any medication. P.S. The sample was taken on an empty stomach in the morning.

What is included in a full panel testing of thyroid?
