I'm a bit worried about how safe it is to use a nebulizer for my baby. The doctor recommended using Astalin with a small sachet-like bottle for 5 minutes, then stopping for 15 minutes before using it again for another 5 minutes, and repeating this process three times in one session, twice a day. I'm really concerned if this could be toxic for my baby's heart.

I'm really worried about my 2-year-old. He caught a cold a couple of days ago and then developed a severe dry cough that same night. Yesterday, his breathing seemed forced; he hardly ate anything all day and drank only a few sips of water. I nebulized him eight times, and today it seems like his breathing's a bit better. Im giving him Bro Zedex syrup and Alex Junior. The last time he had something like this, the doctor had to give him an aminophylline injection followed by nebulization.
