I've got a little one who's just turned 2 months and 15 days old, and I've heard something about giving babies vitamin D. Is it really necessary for my baby? Also, if it's needed, what other meds should I consider? I had a C-section, and my baby arrived a bit early at 8 months and 15 days, so I want to make sure I'm doing everything right. Any advice on what might be good to take would be appreciated!

I accidentally swallowed my tooth, and I'm really worried about what might happen. Could this harm my stomach? Should I get in touch with a doctor right away? Is there any chance this could be dangerous?

Don't worry, swallowing a tooth is generally harmless and rarely causes significant issues; the tooth will likely pass through your digestive system without being digested, and come out intact in your stool within a few days

I'm really concerned because my mom, my 17-month-old son, and I ate a mango that had these white maggot-like worms in it. My mom and I ended up vomiting afterward, and we even saw some of the worms still moving. I'm really worried about whether this could have any effects, especially on my son. Can you offer any advice on what I should do?

The worms you are describing may be parasitic worms that can cause health issues. You should consult a healthcare professional to get the proper diagnosis and treatment. In the meantime, you can consider taking Albendazole 400mg tablet as a deworming medication for adults. For your 17-month-old son, you can give him Albendazole suspension in a dosage appropriate for his weight. Make sure to follow the dosage instructions provided by the healthcare professional.

My baby is 2 months old and he's not pooping regularly. Sometimes it's 4 to 5 days without any bowel movement. The doctor mentioned if it goes past 7 days, we should give him milk of magnesia. It seems like he only poops when we give him the milk of magnesia after about six days. Is it okay to rely on this medicine, or could there be something else going on? I'm getting worried. Any advice?

Its not uncommon for babies, especially breastfed infants, to go for a few days without having a bowel movement. The milk of magnesia your doctor prescribed can help temporarily, but its important not to rely on it for long-term use. Keep monitoring your babys comfort, hydration, and feeding, and follow up with your doctor if the problem persists or if your baby seems to be in discomfort.
