Please look at ALT, AST, GGT and bilirubin values. If any are raised, it may suggest liver inflammation. Avoid alcohol/fatty foods. Consult a hepatologist for cause-specific treatment.

Hello, my blood report shows SGOT 67. Is this a serious concern? Please suggest what I should do. I had earlier posted a question about a dry cough for the last month, and the doctor advised X-ray and blood tests. Everything came normal except SGOT elevated to 67. I work in the merchant navy, and if this does not get corrected, I may lose my job as I need to be medically fit every time I go on the ship. Please help. I am very worried about my health and job. Someone said there might be swelling in the liver, which is why the SGOT is 67.

I am attaching my blood test report as well as my USG report. For the past 2 months, I have been experiencing elevated bilirubin and liver enzymes. Please review the reports and advise what could be the cause and what steps I should take next.
