Madam/sir I missed my periods on 26th October. I took a test on 27th October beta hcg blood test that was negative and after 3 days I again took a test on 30th October that was positive 27.01. My question is I read online that one time beta hcg test is enough to detect pregnancy after missed periods. Why in my case it took 4 more days after missed periods? I got really worried?

Yes, one Beta HCG test after a missed period is usually enough but not always. In some women, HCG rises slowly, especially in early pregnancy. Your first test (on Day 1 of missed period) may have been too early to detect. By Day 4 (Oct 30), HCG reached 27 confirming pregnancy.

View allI was trying to conceive and underwent a follicular study. After ovulation, my doctor prescribed Susten 400 (vaginal) for 15 days. My last LMP was 1st August. I have neither got my period nor is my pregnancy test positive. Can you suggest the possible cause? Does Susten 400 delay periods, or could I still be pregnant?

My last period was on July 25. I consulted a gynecologist on August 9, and a pregnancy test that morning was negative. Thyroid and hormone tests were normal. The doctor prescribed Gynaset for 5 days, which I completed. On September 16, I tested for pregnancy again, and the result was positive. Can this result be considered accurate? What should I do next?
