Since then, I have been doing a CBC test every year. I have noticed that my WBC and platelets have been decreasing year after year, and I randomly experience body itching. My WBC and platelets have now fallen to the lower margins. Why is this happening? Does the infection from 9 years ago have any role in this, or is there some other reason? I have consulted many doctors and searched online, but I cannot understand the reason. Can anyone help me understand this?

Fever, cough and high WBC means infection. Cause (viral/bacterial) needs confirmation. Avoid antibiotics without doctor advice. Do CBC, CRP, Chest Xray. Give fluids, rest, paracetamol. See doctor if symptoms worsen.
