My baby was born premature and is now 4.5 months old. He is exclusively breastfed and has had loose motions for the last 10 days. For the first three days, the stools were watery. We consulted a doctor, who gave Bifilac GG twice a day and Zinc and Vitamin D 0.5 ml once daily. Now the stools are not watery but still very loose, seedy, and bubbly. Stool frequency in 24 hours is 3 to 6 times. Stool test shows pH 6 and reducing substance positive. The doctor has suggested stopping breastfeeding completely and giving lactose-free formula milk. He has no other symptoms, is active, and is gaining weight steadily. His current weight is 6.3 kg. Please suggest if breastfeeding should be stopped and what should be done regarding the loose motion?

No, breastfeeding should not be stopped unless severe intolerance is confirmed. Try lactose-free formula alongside breast milk if needed.

I continued using it, thinking my body would adjust, and took it for one month with milk, water, and curd. As a result, I started getting black loose stools. A stool test showed +fiber, +undigested food, and negative for mucus, blood, and infection. I stopped the whey protein and switched back to a normal diet, but the condition did not improve. It has been almost seven months, and now I am getting yellow loose stools. Sometimes the stool is normal, but other times it starts hard and ends loose. Doctors have told me that I have weak intestines. I have also lost weight; previously I weighed 63 kg, and now I weigh 58 kg.

My son is passing stools three times a day, two times normally and once in very small quantity. The doctor suggested a stool test. The results of stool tests are attached. After the first test, Walamycin was prescribed for 5 days. I gave it for 3 days and stopped because his stools became normal. However, in the retest, I see pus cells again in his stool. Please suggest what should be done next.

I had vomiting and loose motion so my doctor said I have a stomach infection and advised me to get blood and urine reports. I am also having regular back pain and my mouth has a sour taste. I have attached my reports.
