In my blood report, SGOT and SGPT are 84 and 98 respectively. I have high pain in feet and hand joints and am suffering from fever. Is my liver damaged? What preventive measures should I take? All other test results in the report are normal.

These are mildly elevated and may be due to viral infection or inflammation. Its not serious liver damage but needs monitoring. Avoid alcohol, oily food, and get hepatitis panel if fever persists.

My blood report shows normocytic normochromic cells with macrocytes and ovalocytes, and my liver enzymes are elevated (SGOT is 55.9 U/L, SGPT is 61.9 U/L). I do not consume alcohol or cold drinks. I want to know if it is safe to undergo surgery for dry ear perforation. Also, could these results indicate any underlying disease? Please advise.
