My blood report shows: Serum cholesterol: 226 Serum triglyceride: 121 HDL cholesterol: 45 VLDL cholesterol: 24 LDL cholesterol: 156 Cholesterol/HDL ratio: 4.96 The doctor has prescribed Atoder 10 tablets. I am 27 years old. Should I take this medicine, and are there any disadvantages? I had jaundice in 2012.

Atoder (atorvastatin) is used to reduce LDL. Safe at 27 if liver function is monitored. History of jaundice warrants caution and regular LFTs.

View allMy blood report shows normocytic normochromic cells with macrocytes and ovalocytes, and my liver enzymes are elevated (SGOT is 55.9 U/L, SGPT is 61.9 U/L). Could this indicate that I am suffering from any disease? Is this reversible, and is there a chance that I might have hepatitis? Please advise.

I got my blood report today. SGOT is 43 and SGPT is 69, with normal values being 40 and 45 respectively. Total cholesterol is 185, HDL is 39, and TSH is 10.13. I will meet a doctor, but is this a matter of concern?

I am experiencing severe discomfort in the upper and middle abdomen, along with bloating and excessive gas. I am currently taking Nexpro L. My epigastric pain has not improved. I have attached my latest blood report and ultrasound. Could you please help me understand which organs might be involved, and whether I can take Rifaximin or Rifagut 200 mg for dyspepsia and gastritis? I would like guidance on the best treatment for dyspepsia, gastritis, and fatty liver.
