My family tested positive for COVID 19. My father and mother RTPCR reports show high viral load, my report shows low viral load, and the other family members reports indicate mild COVID. Could you please suggest treatment or prescription for us? We need guidance on what to do next.

Prescription cannot be given, but general advice: isolate, hydrate, rest. Monitor oxygen more than 94 percent. Take paracetamol for fever. Consult doctor for meds if symptoms worsen.

View allMy father tested COVID 19 positive on 26 July (sample taken on 23 July). After home isolation and treatment, he was retested on 12 August, and the report came today (13 August). The interpretation says 2019 nCoV negative, but I am confused about the MS2 gene detected part. Is he still contagious? Does he need to continue home isolation for a few more days?
