My father has recovered from Covid. It has been 25 days and he tested negative recently. He has an elevated blood sugar level which is now under control, but he is getting fever. What might be the cause? I have attached his blood report. Is there anything to worry about or is this common after Covid? Please kindly advise.

Post COVID low immunity can lead to secondary infections or inflammation. If blood markers like CRP or D dimer are high, further evaluation is needed. Please do the required inflammatory and infection tests if not already done.
Dr. Dhankecha Suggests...
Take a CRP Test (C - Reactive Protein) Test or Take a ESR Test (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) Test

View allAfter experiencing diarrhea, I often develop swelling in my knees and ankles, along with pain in my neck, elbows, and other joints. Since March, my condition has worsened to the point where I am bedridden, with extreme pain along my spinal cord and swelling in my left knee. My HLA B27 test result came back as weakly positive. What does this mean, and will I be able to recover and return to normal again?

Hi Doctor, I have been a primary contact of two COVID positive patients. I have tested negative by RTPCR and HRCT, and my blood reports are normal. However, I have been experiencing a persistent fever of up to 102F for the past three days. I do not have any other symptoms. I am currently taking Calpol 650 three times a day, along with zinc and vitamin C supplements. Could you please advise if this is concerning and how I should proceed with this condition?

Six days ago my sister developed a red spot in one eye. After two days, she started having fever in the evening only, with a maximum temperature of 99.6F, along with slight stomach upset. Her COVID test is negative. I have attached her blood report, done today. Her CRP is 0.38 and platelet count is 115. Please suggest whether this could be COVID or some other issue. Apart from the evening fever and slight stomach upset, her eye is perfectly fine and she has no other symptoms.
