My father recovered from COVID about 45 days ago. He was hospitalized from April 9th to 16th. In his recent blood report, the CD4/CD8 ratio appears to be low. Could you please help me understand what this means.

A low CD4/CD8 ratio can be seen after COVID 19 and may take time to normalise. If there are no symptoms and he is recovering well, this usually is not a concern. Just keep monitoring.

View allI started feeling unwell with body aches and a temperature of 100F. I took paracetamol, and my temperature returned to normal, but then I developed a cough and mild sore throat. In the morning, I felt cold and my temperature rose to 102F. I took paracetamol again, which brought it down, but the fever returned by 11 am. I consulted a physician and have attached his prescription and test report. After taking the prescribed medicines, I felt better, but I still feel very weak. Last night, I experienced restlessness, excessive sweating, and a rapid heartbeat for a few minutes. I am unsure what happened.

For the past 3 to 4 months, he has been experiencing difficulty during urination. When he feels the urge to urinate, he is only able to pass about 30 to 40 percent of it and cannot empty his bladder completely. He also feels pain internally during the process. After a short time, the urge returns, but again he is unable to fully empty his bladder. I have attached his test report for your review.
