My husband RTPCR test report came today, and he is COVID 19 positive but asymptomatic. Could you please advise what the next steps should be? Should any medication be given, or are there other precautions we need to follow?

No treatment is needed unless symptoms develop. Isolate for at least 5 to 7 days. Monitor oxygen saturation. Take a repeat COVID test after day 7.

View allMy husband has taken a COVID test three times over the last three days at two different labs. Two tests came back positive with CT values of 28 and 32, while one test was negative. I am very confused about these results and cannot determine whether he is actually positive or negative. Please advise.

I went to have a COVID test 5 days ago because I had certain symptoms. That day, I was put in a hospital ward with others who had similar symptoms and were admitted after the test. The next day, my test results came back negative. However, I did spend 1 day in that ward. On the discharge slip, doctors advised me to stay in isolation for 10 days, even though my test report was negative. I want to ask if there is a significant chance of getting COVID by staying in a COVID dedicated ward for one day? I wore a surgical mask the whole time. After coming back, I changed my clothes but did not bathe as I was having a fever. Today is the 5th day, and I am a little scared because I read that most patients develop COVID symptoms between days 5 and 10.
