My last period started on 26th July, and my cycles are irregular. I had unprotected intercourse on 15th August. For the past month, I have been feeling tired, dizzy throughout the day, and sometimes nauseous. I took a pregnancy test today, and it was negative. Could there still be a chance of pregnancy, or might these symptoms be due to something else?

Since your last period was on July 26 and you had unprotected intercourse on August 15, pregnancy is possible given your irregular cycles. Fatigue, dizziness, and nausea are early signs, but can also be caused by hormonal issues, low Vitamin D, or stress. A negative test today does not fully rule out pregnancy. Repeat a Serum beta hCG Test for accurate confirmation. If negative, consult your doctor for fatigue workup.

How many days of pregnancy can be detected through a serum beta hCG test, and how accurate is it? Is there any other test to confirm pregnancy?

Hi, my friend has had irregular periods for a long time, occurring once every 2 to 3 months. She consulted an allopathy doctor and all tests, including thyroid and scans, were normal. The doctor suggested it should improve after her marriage. She continues to have hair fall but no weight gain or loss. I suggested consulting an Ayurvedic doctor from Kerala. She is taking the medicines suggested by the doctor, but this time it has been 2.5 months and she has not got her period. Before that, her periods continued for 2 months, though the flow was very less. She is also worried about pregnancy, but they are not planning to have children for another 1 to 2 years. She did home pregnancy tests twice in October, once in the first week and once in the last week, after skipping her 2 month period. Just in case, the urine test was a false result. They are planning to go for a blood test. Is it possible that the home test was wrong both times, and can the blood test report be trusted?

I am 6 weeks pregnant with my first child and have been experiencing continuous mild pain in my lower left abdomen for the past 12 hours. I have not undergone any scan yet, but my blood reports are normal. Is this mild continuous pain normal in early pregnancy, or is it something to be concerned about?
