My last period was on 26 July, and I usually have a 28 day cycle. Today is the 36th day of my cycle, and I still have not gotten my period. I took a home pregnancy test yesterday, and it was negative. Will my period come normally, and what should I do now?

A delay in your period with a negative pregnancy test can happen due to stress, illness, or hormonal fluctuations. Since it is day 36 of your cycle, you can wait for another 5 to 7 days to see if your period starts. If your period does not come, repeat the urine pregnancy test to confirm. If cycles remain irregular, your doctor may check thyroid profile and prolactin levels to find the cause. Maintain hydration and manage stress to support your cycle. A serum BetaHCG test may help confirm the diagnosis of pregnancy and rules out any false negatives.

View allMy husband and I had unprotected sex on 30th July and took an ipill. After that, we had unprotected sex a couple more times. My period was due on 17th August, but I started feeling dizziness, so I did a home pregnancy test, which showed one dark line and one faint pink line. Does this indicate that I might be pregnant, or could it be a hormonal imbalance due to the i pill? We are not prepared for pregnancy, so I need guidance on what to do next.

Hi, on the 17th day of my period I went for a follicular study. My doctor injected HCG 10000 for egg rupture on the 18th day. I assume my egg ruptured then, but we were not able to have intercourse. On the 19th day, the doctor confirmed that the egg had ruptured. Since I did not have intercourse on the 18th day when the egg ruptured, is there any chance of pregnancy?

I have used Sevista 60 mg from 26th June till 11th August. I am not having periods though my pregnancy test report is negative. How long should I wait for my periods to come? If I want to have sex, will I start Overal L again in this situation? Will Overal L give me protection against pregnancy? Will it take months or days for my periods to normalize since I stopped Sevista on 11th August? In the absence of periods, if I start Ovral L, will it prevent pregnancy?
