Question

My mom is about to turn 63 and has been having trouble with her urine flow it stops and starts repeatedly, with only small amounts coming out each time. Could this be a serious issue or just a mild infection? Would she need medication or possibly surgery to fix this?

Urinary flow issues in older adults can be a sign of a urinary tract infection or a more serious condition like bladder dysfunction. Medications may help, but if it’s persistent, further tests and possible treatment (including surgery) might be necessary.
