My mother blood report shows S. Typhi antigen O 1:160 and S. Typhi antigen H 1:160. The doctor has prescribed Opox CV 200 for 15 days. She has become very weak. Should we admit her to the hospital or wait for the Opox CV to work? Should the medicine be changed?

Typhoid at 1:160 levels needs treatment but not always hospitalization. If she is eating, staying hydrated, and not severely weak, Opox CV at home is fine. Watch for high fever, confusion, or dehydration if any, seek hospital care. Continue 15 day course unless advised otherwise.

Hi, I have a blood test report including dengue, malaria, and typhoid. When I consulted my doctor, he said it was positive for typhoid. Can anyone confirm the type of fever, please? Is it typhoid fever or a normal fever? Please do not ask me to consult a doctor. Please check the attached reports. Thanks in advance.
