My mother has been experiencing a fever of around 99.5 every evening for the past week. We have done blood and urine tests, and the reports came back normal.

A low grade evening fever can be from a viral or low grade infection. If no other symptoms appear, monitor for a few more days. Repeat tests if it lasts over 10 days.

Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test or Take a ESR Test (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) Test

Dear doctor, recently I fell sick and had fever and body pain. In fact, all my family members fell sick. My mother was diagnosed as dengue and typhoid positive. My daughters completely recovered. Their blood test results were negative for dengue, malaria, and typhoid. I was the last one to get sick. My test results for typhoid and malaria turned negative. On 02 Dec, Dengue IgM was negative (1.39 units) and IgG was equivocal (20.06 units) with platelets 1.40 lakhs/cmm. On 04 Dec, I again took a retest without my doctor knowledge. The results this time were: Dengue IgM 3.20 units (negative), IgG 52.46 units (positive), platelets 1.38 lakhs/cmm. Is there anything to be worried about, doctor? I would be glad if someone can explain why the IgG values have doubled? Thanks.

I am a patient of endometriosis and panic anxiety disorder. I have been taking Dienogest for 2.5 years to control my endometriosis cysts, and over time the cysts are decreasing in size. My right ovarian cyst is 1 cm and my left ovarian cyst is 3.5 cm. For panic anxiety, my doctor gave me some blood tests and prescribed Rexipro 5 mg. After taking this medication, I no longer have anxiety problems and I feel almost normal. My test reports are as follows: T3: 0.97 ng/mL (0.58 to 1.59), T4: 7.34 mg/dL (4.87 to 11.72), TSH: 1.68 IU/mL (0.35 to 4.94), Glucose Fasting Plasma: 89 mg/dL (74 to 109), Urea: 13 mg/dL (17 to 43), Creatinine: 0.59 mg/dL (<0.95). My CBC results are mostly normal except the following: Hemoglobin: 13.7 gm/dL (11 to 14), Total Leucocyte Count: 12,000 /cumm (4000 to 11000), HCT: 43.2 Vol percent (33 to 42), RBC: 5.01 millions/cumm (3.8 to 4.8), MCHC: 31.7 gm/dL (32 to 36), Neutrophils: 80 percent (40 to 75), Lymphocytes: 17 percent (20 to 40), Monocytes: 1 percent (2 to 8), ESR: 30 mm (2 to 17). I am worried about some of my CBC parameters. Why are they not normal? Please help.
