My mother has been experiencing low back pain around the left hip along with a fever ranging from 99 to 100 for the past 25 days. The fever occurs at least twice daily. Her blood reports checked by a general physician are normal, and the spine X ray reviewed by an orthopedic doctor is also normal. Dengue test is negative. What could be the cause, and what further steps should we take?

Persistent low grade fever with back pain may indicate infection or inflammatory issue like TB spine. Needs further evaluation beyond X ray.
