My psychiatrist advised me to take some blood tests, and my bilirubin level came out to be 1.54. What are the possible health problems or causes associated with high bilirubin? Please advise.

A bilirubin level of 1.54 mg/dL is slightly above normal often due to mild liver slowdown, dehydration, or stress. If other liver markers (SGPT, SGOT) are normal, its usually not serious. Can also occur in Gilberts syndrome, a harmless condition where bilirubin rises off and on. Stay hydrated, avoid alcohol or heavy oily food during this time.

Take a LFT (Liver Function) Test Test or Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test

My wife is 8 months pregnant and is now experiencing skin rashes all over her body. Her recent SGPT test report shows values above the normal range (more than 20 units). Please advise what this could indicate and what steps should be taken.
