My recent liver profile test shows a high GGT level, while all other parameters, including SGOT and SGPT, are within normal limits.

Elevated GGT may reflect alcohol use, medications, or liver stress. If SGOT/SGPT are normal and you do not drink, it may not be serious but monitor over time.

View allHi, I used to consume high levels of alcohol for 10 years. For the past 5 years, I have quit hard liquor but have beer 5 days a week, around 2 bottles of 650 ml each. I have fatty liver grade 1. SGOT is 37 and SGPT is 64. Total bilirubin is 0.6. All other liver parameters are normal. Will this fatty liver grade continue to progress? I swim for an hour 6 days a week, around 400 metres. I have been taking Reheptin 1 tab a day for 6 years.
