I am a 45 year old lady and I have a very bad ulcer problem, not only in my mouth but also in my stomach. Most of the time, I feel a warm sensation in my mouth and stomach. I have completely avoided spicy food for 4 months, but nothing has improved. Please let me know what I should do and what this problem is exactly called? My test report shows that the scope passed till D2. D1 shows duodenitis, D2 is normal. The stomach shows antral gastritis with a normal body and fundus. The GE junction is at 35 cm with a hiatus hernia. The esophagus shows esophagitis. The impression is antral gastritis and duodenitis with hiatus hernia.

SGOT: 600
GGT: 600
Bilirubin: 1.24
I am under treatment by a gastroenterologist, who says that heavy alcohol consumption on an empty stomach has caused the elevated liver enzymes.
I want to quit alcohol and would like to know the risks associated with these high liver enzyme levels. What precautions should I take?
