A TSH of 12 suggests hypothyroidism. Your doctor may start a low dose of thyroid medication and recheck in 6 to 8 weeks. This condition is manageable and quite common.

Hi, I am 9 weeks pregnant. My recent report shows Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH ULTRA) at 4.69 microIU/ml. Is this a serious issue? Do I have thyroid problems? Please advise.

Please read my report. Now I am currently 32 weeks pregnant. Upto the 2nd trimester thyroid reports were normal. I am using Tyronorm 50 mg. T4 is slightly above. Is there any problem? Please suggest.

I had my full body check up and all the reports were normal except for the TSH test, which showed a value of 6.000 while the normal range is 0.5 to 4.8, which is slightly higher.
