I have been following a Keto diet for almost a year, during which my diabetes reversed and I lost 21 kg rapidly, all within a few weeks. I am now maintaining my weight with the same diet. I would like to get advice from a Keto friendly doctor regarding my swelling issue.

My mother is having back pain and pain in the heel area. She is also unable to move her arms. Is her uric acid normal or increased? Could you also review her urine report? Her uric acid is 5.93.

My serum uric acid level is 6.3 and I have a history of having a horseshoe kidney. I want to know if there is any issue in the blood report that I have attached.

Uric acid of 6.3 is slightly raised but not alarming. With horseshoe kidney, it is important to track kidney function regularly. Stay hydrated and avoid high purine foods like red meat, sugary drinks.
