My TSH is 11.56 as per my report today. I am feeling tired all the time and have body heaviness and no interest in doing any work. Are any other tests required before going to the doctor? Kindly suggest.

A TSH of 11.56 suggests hypothyroidism. The symptoms you are feeling are typical. You should see a doctor soon. A few more tests may help as Free T3, Free T4, and Anti TPO antibodies, to guide proper treatment.

I take 50 mcg/day thyroxine sodium tablets. My recent test report shows T3 1.06 ng/ml (normal range 0.6 to 1.81), T4 9.90 microgram/dL (normal range 3.2 to 12.6), and TSH 8.01 microIU/mL (normal range 0.35 to 5.5). The test was done according to CLIA. Should there be any change in the dose of thyroxine?
