Post typhoid low grade fever is common and usually resolves in 2 to 3 weeks. If persisting, repeat CBC and CRP to rule out other infections. Stay hydrated, eat light, and rest.

My Widal test report shows TO 1:320 positive, TH 1:320 positive, AH 1:160 positive, and BH negative. Other findings include serum triglycerides 267.2 mg/dL, serum uric acid 5.5 mg/dL, pus cells 4 to 6/H.P.F, RBCs 2 to 4/H.P.F, and hemoglobin 10.7. I also have xanthomas on my eyes and body. I was tested for typhoid about 25 days ago, and at that time my Widal test showed O type 1:160 and H type 1:160. I recently got tested again, and now all other types are negative except O type, which is still showing 1:160. I would like to know the reason behind this.
