Please confirm whether I have typhoid based on my Widal test results, O antigen is 1:160 and H antigen is 1:160. I have heard that values above 1:160 may suggest typhoid. I have been having chills, high fever up to 102.6F, cold, cough, and body aches. After taking Paracetamol, Aceclofenac and Cefigard 200, my symptoms have subsided. Should I continue with the same prescription? Also, my CBP is normal, and the urine report shows pus cells of 5 to 6 HPF and epithelial cells is 2 to 4 HPF.

A titre of 1:160 may suggest early typhoid, especially if symptoms match. If you are improving with Cefixime (Cefigard), continue as advised. Monitor temperature and hydration.

Currently she is receiving the following injections as per a pharmacist advice since no doctor is consulting patients due to the COVID situation: Meromac SB 1 gm, Falcigo 60 mg, Pantop injection, Levazeo injection. I have attached my Widal test report. The test was done on the sixth day of the fever, which was around 103 degrees F. Please tell me whether it is typhoid or not, as I have received two different opinions from two doctors. I am very confused.
