Respected Sir/Madam, I have been experiencing a little bit of erection problem. I got a semen analysis done, which shows a sperm count of 39 million and motility of 35 percent, both of which are considered normal. I consulted a doctor with my report, and he suggested I should try IUI. My wife all reports are normal. Kindly advise me on what to do next.

Your semen analysis values (count is 39 million, motility is 35 percent) are in a normal range but slightly on the lower end for motility. Since you are trying for a baby, IUI is a reasonable next step if natural conception has not worked. You can also try lifestyle changes, avoid smoking/alcohol, reduce stress, and take antioxidants.

View allI want to share a health concern regarding my wife. She had an abortion on 4th March. After a long gap, her menstruation resumed on 16th May. During this time, we have undergone various tests based on the advice of doctor, and we have also consulted her regarding the test reports. I would like advice regarding the problems she experiences just before and during her periods, which include vomiting and urinary tract infections that continue during menstruation. What could be the reasons for these symptoms, and what steps should we take to manage them?

I have been trying to conceive for the past 8 months. Today, on the 3rd day of my cycle, I had a follicle study, and the report shows a cyst in my right ovary. My doctor advised me to test FSH, LH, and E2 to decide whether we should proceed with Letrozole this cycle or skip it. Is it still possible for me to conceive this month?

My gynecologist has asked me to undergo a follicular study. I have taken four scans starting from the 5th day of my menstrual cycle. The scan on the 13th day reported the right follicle as 26 mm and the left follicle as 12 mm. How long will it take for the follicle to rupture? Is there any problem with my report?
